5 Things I would tell my 18 year old self...

Turning 18 is always an interesting period of time in anyone's life, all of a sudden you are no longer a child, but you aren't quite an adult! After looking through some old (and many terrible) photographs, I decided to do a post on 5 things I would tell (or ask) myself if I found a time machine. Warning: Terrible photos to come...
1) When you have dark hair, do not decide you want a big blonde section... it does not look good
Yep, that's me in the middle there, looking like a skunk... What was I thinking? Why did the hairdresser let me do it? Why did my mother not stop me? So many questions.....
2) Why would you ever think that matching a headband to a top was a good idea?

Oh look, there I am, red top, red hair band, red faced... get.your.shit.together.
3) Flavoured vodka shots are a terrible plan

I remember when I first started going out in town (legally) and was so excited to go drinking and dancing in revolution. At some point in the night, my best friend and I would have to get shots, and it was always a stick of brightly coloured, dubiously flavoured vodka shots! Why?!!!! All that resulted from drinking these, was feeling sick, and thinking what was that meant to be? If you insist on doing shots, make it nice Tequila!

4) Denim mini skirts are not your friend

What can I say about this outfit... tacky top, denim mini skirt with a studded belt over the top, low opacity black tights and fake converse. Wow. And don't ask me what I was doing in this picture, I have no idea!

5) When you are on holiday in Lloret de Mar, don't drink in a biker bar, and if you do - don't ask for a picture with a couple of bikers...

It seemed like a good idea at the time... now I look back and go wtf? Seriously, who did I think I was, with my pink top and hoop earrings... Although one of the guys did smile, so I must have been a little charming?

Oh well, I guess we all live and learn! One thing I wouldn't change about being 18 though, was having fun with my best friend, we've been friends for 15 years now, from bad hair, to bad decisions in bars and some hilarious fancy dress.

She was super woman, I was cat woman, don't ask why I had fluffy ears... I was 18! Also, clear plastic bra straps? Bleurgh.

I hope you've enjoyed reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing and researching (going through old Facebook albums) it! Leave me a comment or hilarious picture of you at 18 in the comments below!

Made in Chelsea LA Storylines and Spoilers

I am one of those really sad people who gets genuinely excited every time a new season of Made in Chelsea is announced, and season after season I stalk a few cast members online, and see if I can work out some storylines. Sometimes I'm right, and sometimes I'm wrong. However, this time I have decided to share my lunacy with you! Aren't you glad I started a blog....
1) Stephanie Pratt

I think by now we all know about the Steph and Josh breakup, primarily because it is featured on the promo, but also because she deleted every photo of him from her Instagram. However, what hasn't been shown on Made in Chelsea promos is that she seems to be cosying up to a new guy!

And apparently from the comments on some of the new guy's pictures Steph's brother Spencer approves of this match, as does her mom. What do we think then, is this going to be Steph's last season on Made in Chelsea? Is she going to follow Mr Dreamy back to LA?
2) Ollie Locke and Gabriella Ellis

If you have only recently started watching Made in Chelsea, you may not know the long haired lothario that is Ollie Locke, short version - had a pretty girlfriend (one was Gabriella), sexuality questions, broke up with girlfriend, repeat. Eventually went on Celeb Big Brother. However, he seems to have been in LA at about the same time that the rest of the cast were.... coincidence? I guess we'll have to wait and see!

3) Spencer Matthews

Writing this makes me sad, but Spencer isn't in this season of Made in Chelsea ðŸ˜¢ I've looked through so many social network feeds, and I can't see any pics of him anywhere! Also he isn't in the promotional photos. I'm wondering if he is gone for good? All I could see about him on social media was that he is still completely loved up with Lauren Hutton (let's hope he has reformed from his bad-boy behaviour) and has been spending time with former Made in Chelsea star Hugo Taylor! I guess we will have to wait for season 11 to find out if he will return when the cast is back in London!
Let me know in the comments below if you have any predictions for this season of Made in Chelsea, or if you think mine will be right!

The quest to find the perfect watch is complete

Since my last watch continuously fell off my wrist due to a weak clasp, I have been dying for a new watch. However, I am also one of the pickiest people in the world. For a while I considered a Michael Kors one, however after last Christmas I felt like the world and his wife owned one, which put me off getting one!

After then deciding I didn't want a Chronographic face, I started the very long hunt for my perfect time-keeping companion. For me buying a watch is a large decision - I don't wear a lot of jewellery, so I feel like my watch is not only useful, but it also shows off my personality a bit (if that makes any sense at all!)

Isn't she beautiful
I had seen a few different watch companies that I liked, however in the end I narrowed it down to Daniel Wellington, or Olivia Burton. As you can see Olivia Burton won! I loved the simplicity of the watches produced by both of these companies, however I am a complete sucker for rose gold, and it is beautiful with the mink leather strap. In the future I might consider getting a Daniel Wellington watch as well though...

The exact model of this watch is the Big Dial Mink and Rose Gold Watch; I had been coveting it for a long time, and put it on my birthday list with a big sign saying "Please Buy Me"! Fortunately, my lovely boyfriend paid attention to my constant hints, and I bounced around the room when opened it up on my Birthday. Conveniently, the colours also go with the plans for my new bedroom... I may add a picture to my mood board!

I'm loving the trend for over sized watches at the moment - not to sound too granny like, but it means I can easily see the time without glasses on (winner!) and also because I don't wear much jewellery - seriously all I usually wear are earrings, it makes such a pretty wrist decoration.

Are you loving statement watches at the moment! Let me know what you think of mine in the comments below, or if there are any other similar brands you think I should look at.

Korean Skincare: Mizon Egg White Bubble Cleanser

As you may have realised from my recent French Skincare buys, I am a big fan of looking after my skin, especially recently because for some reason I have started getting breakouts on my chin... honestly I thought that I had enough of those when I was a teenager!

However, I have been hearing a lot about Korean skincare recently, and while I was having a mooch around Cult Beauty the other day, I saw Mizon Mild Skin Smoothie Egg White Bubble Cleanser, which I have heard a lot about.

After using this for a week, I have kind of mixed feelings, on one hand I love how soft it makes my skin feel, and it got most of what was on my face off, however - it failed at my eye makeup - although admittedly I use waterproof mascara. Because of this I now prefer to use it as part of a two step cleansing method at night; firstly I remove all eye makeup and do a quick sweep with micellar water or something similar, then do a proper wash with the Mizon Cleanser. In the morning though it is great to use on its own.
Since using this product, I have to say my skin has been a lot clearer, and the spots I was battling around my chin have pretty much gone away, which is fab! You do need to use a good moisturiser with this cleanser as well though - it is quite drying on my skin, which although that is fine for me, it may be an issue for others!
If you have used this before let me know what you think, and if there are any tips you know of to get a great cleanse!
